Havas Lynx – 3 Circle Square, Manchester
The project began with extensive workplace analysis and test-fit layouts before selecting 3 Circle Square. A critical requirement was integrating sustainability by reusing furniture from their previous office.
The design, developed in close collaboration with the client, focused on functionality and cultural alignment. An aesthetic of neutral tones and rich textures (exposed metal floor, timber, tactile upholstery) was implemented to create a sophisticated, timeless environment that prioritises user comfort and acoustic performance.
The Social Heart: The central area was designed as a multi-functional core for community and events. It features a bar, work lounge, and auditorium seating for larger scale meetings.
Agile Work Settings: Open-plan work areas are balanced with diverse ancillary spaces, including enclosed meeting rooms, dedicated work booths, and informal collaboration tables, all supporting focused and spontaneous teamwork.
Sustainable Integration: A core commitment to sustainability was realized by auditing and seamlessly reusing a significant portion of existing furniture. This reduced the environmental footprint and provided cost efficiencies while maintaining a high-spec finish.
The resulting headquarters is an agile, culturally resonant workspace that successfully promotes creativity, collaboration, and well-being across the entire space. The project’s commitment to sustainable furniture reuse serves as a powerful testament to the client’s environmental goals.
