Bluesky Design have created a new 16,770 sq ft office for ACS Stainless Steel Fixings in Leeds.
Occupying a prominent corner space on the new A63 approach road into Leeds, the statement office and production building designed by KPP Architects was a big step forward in the company’s brand identity and profile.
ACS wanted to continue this contemporary feel into their workspace, to provide a variety of work settings and facilities for their office and production staff. These included dedicated shower areas, gym and breakout spaces on the ground floor, with offices and formal meeting rooms on the first floor allowing vision into the production space.

The company corporate blues were set against a monochrome backdrop. Practicality was at the heart of the whole scheme as there is constant collaboration between the stainless steel workshop and the office teams. Stainless steel worktops and splash backs were included in the tea-points to re-enforce the company brand.
Since moving the company has had a great response to their new location and we are now working on our second project with them.
